The 2014 International Workshop on Public-Private Dialogue (PPD) will be held at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH Headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany fromMarch 3 to March 6, 2014. This 7th PPD Global Workshop is organized by the World Bank Institute’s Private Sector Engagement for Good Governance (PSGG) program and GIZ (Sector Project “Innovative Approaches for Private Sector Development”) in collaboration with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Global Partnership for Effective Development and Cooperation. It is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
The workshop aims to support PPD practitioners on the ground through knowledge exchange. It will take stock of recent developments in PPD knowledge and tools, explore how PPD is used to foster inclusive development, discuss specific PPD cases, explore critical PPD related topics, and help build capacity to effectively manage and monitor a PPD process during the PPD life cycle.
