Using indoor farming systems that are supported by IT and software, the company is making systems to grow crops more cost-effectively. It is called vertical farming, and the crops are grown on large shelves indoors, so less ground space is used up, and more produce can be farmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>iFarm has raised\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.crunchbase.com\/organization\/ifarm-project\" target=\"_blank\">$4M<\/a>\u00a0so far in total funding. The funding round was led by Gagarin Capital.
