POSITION SUMMARY
ADA University is seeking Research Editor to join Caspian Center for Energy and Environment to take a leading role in the development and implementation of research programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate the research pillar of CCEE;
- Write energy and environment related papers, including weekly editorials;
- Establish and liaise with CCEE network of experts, identify relevant issues, provide for the sustainable supply of policy and research papers;
- Organize the publication of a quarterly periodical on Caspian Energy and Environment in the current year;
- Manage fund-raising for energy and environment research;
- Delegate activities and provide guidance to junior staff at CCEE;
- Demonstrate solid research and English-language expertise, and the knowledge of energy and environment industry of the wider Caspian region;
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
- University degree is required;
- 3-5 years professional publishing or business information experience, preferably with a basis in independent research and analysis;
- Excellent writing skills, including the ability to summarize complex information clearly;
- Excellent knowledge of English and Azeri languages;
- Excellent organization and communication skills;
- Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels and in a team;
- Ability to work well under pressure.
