International consultancy to provide expert support in reviewing and providing feedback to the 2nd Specialized Report on Children Rights for the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child. Closing Date: October 13

According the unicef.org the international consultant will support the efforts to review the draft specialized report on children’s right to enable compliance with reporting obligations under the CRC and available guidelines. An indirect objective is to further efforts by the country to attain international goals and commitments made by the country and strengthen national capacities to establish a system to monitor and implement CRC Concluding Observations and recommendations.

Under the supervision of the UNICEF Azerbaijan Office and in consultation with relevant government entities and civil society organizations, the consultant is expected to provide professional technical, operational and administrative guidance and support as well as quality assurance to implementation of the C4D related interventions, with specific focuses on supporting the development and implementation of a comprehensive Communication Strategy and Action Plan for integrated facility and community-based parenting and family education for early childhood development.
